Tree of Life

Enhancing Women’s Health Services

You too can be a partner in helping Independence Health System's Butler Memorial Hospital develop innovative services, new technology needs, educational programming, and more.

The Women’s Imaging Center was designed and staffed by women, for women. Even during routine testing, the staff understands how important it is for patients to be in a comfortable, supportive environment where privacy and convenience are valued.

Over the past 20 years, the Butler Memorial Hospital (BMH) Foundation has supported the Women’s Imaging Center by helping to purchase state of the art equipment, including:

  • Automated Breast Ultrasound Unit
  • Breast Tomosynthesis Unit
  • Digital Imaging Unit
  • Stereotactic Biopsy Table
  • Stereotactic Biopsy Unit

At the same time, you can perpetuate visible recognition for a loved one by having your family name inscribed on a leaf or a stone on the Tree of Life sculpture, which is located outside the Women’s Imaging Center at 129 Oneida Valley Road at the Crossroads Campus.

This lovely work of art bears the names specified by donors who have contributed to the Tree in amounts ranging from $500 to $10,000. Individuals, groups, organizations, and corporations may add their names to the Women’s Services Tree of Life. We invite you to contact the BMH Foundation to discover how you can be a partner in the mission of helping to further Women’s Health Services and how you can also experience the benefits of being a Tree of Life donor.
