Independence Health System Welcomes Dr. Daisuke Kaneyuki to its Cardiothoracic Surgery Team in Greensburg

Greensburg, Pa, Mar. 5, 2025 – Independence Health System is pleased to announce the addition of Daisuke Kaneyuki, MD, to its Cardiothoracic Surgical Associates team in Greensburg. Dr. Kaneyuki brings extensive knowledge and expertise in cardiac care, further strengthening the system’s commitment to providing exceptional heart care to the community.

Dr. Kaneyuki completed his premedical studies and earned a Bachelor of Medicine degree from Chiba University School of Medicine in Japan. He advanced his training with a cardiovascular surgical residency at Chiba University Hospital. Dr. Kaneyuki further honed his skills through clinical fellowships in cardiovascular surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA (Minimally invasive, Robotic), and Columbia University Hospital in New York, NY (LVAD, Transplant). He is board-certified in general surgery by the Japan Surgical Society.

Dr. Kaneyuki’s expertise includes coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) procedures, surgical valve procedures via minimally invasive approach, and mechanical circulatory support. His advanced training allows him to provide personalized care to patients with complex cardiovascular conditions.
