Independence Health System is pleased to welcome Alexys Allen, MD, to both Primary Care and Women’s Care Associates of Butler.
Dr. Allen received her medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine and completed a three-year residency in family medicine at Forbes Hospital-Allegheny Health Network. Her interest in women’s health led her to the University of Utah Department of Family and Preventive Medicine, where she completed a 1-year family medicine obstetrics fellowship. Dr. Allen is board-certified in family medicine, with a particular interest in obstetrical care. Dr. Allen’s dual background in family medicine and obstetrics allows her to provide comprehensive services to a mother and baby through prenatal development until well after delivery.
“I wanted to work in an environment where I would have the opportunity to care for people on an individual level; that’s why I chose Independence Health System,” said Alexys Allen, MD. “I am delighted to work in a place that fosters my desire to care for the entire family through all stages of life, including infancy, childhood, youth, pregnancy, adulthood, geriatrics, and end-of-life care.”
Dr. Allen is accepting new patients at Butler Family Medicine, 116 Woody Drive, Butler, where she will provide a broad range of comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients from infancy into adulthood.
