Latrobe Family Medicine Residency Program Celebrates 50 Years
Latrobe Bulletin: A renowned program that has successfully prepared doctors for careers both in the community and beyond celebrated a major milestone over the weekend.

The Latrobe Family Medicine Residency Program recognized 50 years of educating and mentoring aspiring physicians with a reunion that included a reception on Friday at The Square at Latrobe, followed by continuing education sessions and a banquet at Rizzo’s Malabar Inn in Crabtree on Saturday.

The unopposed three-year residency program, which admits eight doctors per class, offers a wide variety of clinical rotations, including obstetrics, pediatrics, pediatric emergency medicine, women’s health, general surgery, emergency medicine, clinical pharmacy, intensive care, behavioral medicine, hospital medicine, pain management, and more.
