About the Provider

Ms. Rachel Christy is a Nurse Practitioner in Cardiac Electrophysiology with Independence Health System. She graduated from Slippery Rock University (BSN 2001) and the University of Pittsburgh (MSN 2006). Starting at Butler Health System 25 years ago in Telemetry and Intensive Care, she also worked as a Performance Improvement Analyst while advancing her education. A board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, she briefly left BHS for the Ohio Heart Institute in 2006 but returned in 2008 as a perioperative nurse practitioner. She joined BHS Cardiovascular Consultants in 2016 and specialized in Electrophysiology in 2018.
