About the Provider
Dr. Charles Huston, III, M.D., F.A.C.S., specializes in general surgery at Clarion Hospital.
Dr. Huston began his medical training in 1972 at Temple University Medical School in Philadelphia.
He completed his surgical internship at the University of Kentucky in 1977. Then went on to complete his residency in general and vascular surgery in 1981 at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky.
Dr. Huston is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the National Board of Medical Examiners.
He enjoys practicing in a small community because he has the ability to develop more of a personal relationship with his patients. He also finds that smaller hospitals have a greater family atmosphere about them.
Dr. Huston ‘s passion is surgery and knows it is what he was called to do. He says “We all have something to teach, and we have something to learn.”
