We participate in ERAS and NRMP.
We are currently interviewing for the positions starting July 1, 2025.
For 2025, we will accepting 4 residents. We will be looking to interview
applicants from November through early February. In-person interviews
will comprise the vast majority of applicant slots. However, a handful
of virtual interviews will be offered to exceptional candidates who fall
outside of our typical recruitment region (e.g. Hawaii, Alaska, &
the West Coast).
We hold the following criteria for medical students applying to our program:
- Must be a graduate of a medical school in the United States and Canada,
accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME), within
the past 3 years OR
- Must be a graduate of college of osteopathic medicine in the United States,
accredited by the American Osteopathic Association Commission on Osteopathic
College Accreditation (AOACOCA) within the past 3 years, or has completed
an internship in an AOA accredited program in the preceding year OR

Must be a graduate of certain medical schools outside the United States
and Canada, within the past 3 years, who meet one of the following qualifications:
- Have recently received a currently valid certificate from the Education
Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) prior to appointment OR
- Have a full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a U.S. licensing
jurisdiction in which the ACGME-accredited program is located
- Graduates of medical schools outside the United States who have completed
a Fifth Pathway program, as defined by ACGME’s Institutional Requirement
IV.A.2.c. provided by an LCME-accredited medical school OR
- A graduate of an ACGME-accredited residency program who is looking to change
his or her career to family medicine
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the
commencement of their Residency Agreement

- Determination of eligibility as related to US Citizenship & Immigration
Services (USCIS) and approvals of appropriate non-immigrant visa eligibility
will be made based on ECFMG and Department of State requirements for J-1 Visa
Applicants are selected on the basis of their preparedness, ability, aptitude,
academic credentials, communication skills, critical thinking skills,
and personal qualities such as motivation, integrity, and commitment to
service and Hippocratic medicine. Criteria includes:
- Appropriate academic performance in undergraduate medical education
- Letters of recommendation from appropriate faculty and community preceptors
- Letters will be reviewed for evaluation of the applicant’s clinical
skills, fund of knowledge, leadership skills, quality of research, clinical
judgment, commitment to service and Hippocratic medicine, and ability
to form productive professional relationships with peers, attending physicians,
nursing personnel, and ancillary support staff
- Demonstrated scholarly activity
- Current curriculum vitae
- Completed application form
- Personal interview with the program’s faculty and residents
