The Supervised Exercise Therapy Program is a comprehensive program designed
to assist patients in exercising safely to achieve the goals of increasing
activity without pain, improving blood flow to the lower extremities,
to identify risk factors for peripheral arterial disease and how to decrease
these risk factors.
The SET Program staff, in consultation with your referring Provider, will
develop a treatment plan that will be individualized to meet your specific
needs. You will be provided with instructions on how to begin and gradually
increase your exercise to achieve set individualized goals to help improve
your Peripheral Vascular Disease and symptoms.
Patients in the SET program will receive and learn to:
